Hertford Writers’ Circle is an active and friendly group of writers: between us we span a wide range of experience, background and genres that we work in. We have members working on novels, short stories, poetry, plays, screenplays, as well as non-fiction such as travel writing, local history, science and family history.
Some of us have publications to our name, some have not (yet); some have completed full length novels while others are still thinking about their first paragraph! All of us are passionate about writing and keen to develop our craft.

To date we have published four anthologies of members’ work. The first, entitled Endings… had a short print run and is now a collector’s item! Our next two, Changes… and Reflections… are available to buy from this website. We are now launching our fourth anthology: Encounters…
